Adventurer Activity Program- Level 3

Week 1

Take note of your dog’s daily activity (time and distance). This will be entered as your ‘baseline activity level’ at the end of Week 1.

Week 2

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 5-minute active walk.
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 10-minute active walk.
Daily activity target: 25 mins. Weekly target: 175 mins

Week 3

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 5-minute active walk.
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 10-minute active walk.
PLAY: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the Week: Hide & Seek
Daily activity target: 30 mins. Weekly target: 210 mins

Week 4

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 10-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 10-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the Week: Round Robin
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap 5-minutes of active walk for off leash activity.
Daily activity target: 35mins. Weekly activity target: 245 minutes

Week 5

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 10-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 10-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the week: Healthy treat hunt
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap 5-minutes of active walk for 5-minutes off leash activity.
Daily activity target: 35 mins. Weekly target: 245 mins

Week 6

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 10-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 15-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the week: In the basket.
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap 10-minutes of active walk for 10-minutes off leash activity.
Daily activity target: 40 mins. Weekly target: 280 mins

Week 7

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 15-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 15-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the week: Doggy soccer
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap 10-minutes of active walk for 10-minutes off leash activity.

Daily activity target: 45 mins. Weekly target: 315 mins

Week 8

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 15-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 15-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the week: Simon Says
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap 10-minutes of active walk for 10-minutes off leash activity.
Daily activity target: 45 mins. Weekly target: 315 mins

Week 9

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 15-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 20-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the week: Dig It
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap up to 15- minutes of active walk for 15-minutes off leash activity.
Daily activity target: 50 mins.  Weekly target: 350 mins

Week 10

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 15-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 20-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the week: Bubbles
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap up to 15- minutes of active walk for 15-minutes off leash activity.
Daily activity target: 50 mins. Weekly target: 350 mins

Week 11

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 20-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 20-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session. Game of the Week: Obstacle Course
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap up to 20-minutes of active walk for 20-minutes off leash activity.
Daily activity target: 55 mins. Weekly target: 385 mins

Week 12

Morning: 5-minute stroll followed by 20-minute active walk
Afternoon: 5-minute stroll followed by 20-minute active walk
Play: 5-minute daily play session: Mix n match games learnt so far.
OFF LEASH OPTION: swap up to 20-minutes of active walk for 20-minutes off leash activity.
Daily activity target: 55 mins. Weekly target: 385 min

Week 13
onwards

Aim to match your week 12 activity level (time and distance) as you move forward with your dog’s diet plan. Consider this your dog’s new weekly activity baseline😊
